About The Siouxland Wave Aquatic Team

The Siouxland Wave Aquatic Team, Inc. is located in Sioux City, IA. We are acknowledged with the Iowa Secretary of State as an Iowa Nonprofit and the United States Department of the Treasury as a 501C3 non-profit business. The Club is sponsored and supported by the team parents and is professionally coached. The swimmer’s range in age from 5 to 18 years of age. The “SWAT” members receive personal team coaching four to five nights per week at North and West High Pools.

The parents and coaches help to build the swimmers' personal skills and endurance via structured workouts. Once team members build their skills, swimmers are provided the opportunity to swim competitively with teams locally and across the Midwest.

Our Coaches

The Siouxland Wave Aquatic Team are a professionally coached team. Coach Heather and Coach Bryan are both accomplished swimmers and have many years of coaching experience with swimmers of all ages. We also have five assistant coaches that have a strong swimming background to help round out the coaching staff. Our coaches stress personal and team goals which include fun and improvement of skills and techniques.

Our Board of Directors

The Siouxland Wave Aquatic Team operate under the bylaws of Siouxland Wave Aquatic Team, Inc. and the affairs of the Corporation are managed by our board of directors. The current members of our board are Dan Patee, Jerrod Henrich, Kasey Harder, Michelle Rustwick, Anthony Gabriel and Dr. Hendrik Klooper.
